Two additional bodies were recovered from the rubble of an Iranian missile strike in Bat Yam early Monday morning, ZAKA announced.

The number of dead in the city alone from the missile strikes has risen to nine since ZAKA's announcement.

Another person is still missing in the city due to the strikes, KAN reported.

The overall death toll in the country since the beginning of Operation Rising Lion has risen to 16.

The day before, a senior IDF Home Front Command official said Bat Yam sustained the worst strike on civilians of the war with Iran.
